The Castlegar fire department says 14th Avenue near Highway 3 has reopened after a five-ton delivery truck rolled onto its side. Traffic had been blocked in both directions.
Fire chief Sam Lattanzio said in an email that they were called about 9:30 this morning.
The driver, who suffered non-life-threatening injuries, managed to get out on his own and was taken to hospital by ambulance.
Firefighters managed the scene until tow trucks arrived to recover the vehicle. RCMP and Commercial Vehicle Safety and Enforcement are investigating.
