RCMP trying to identify suspect in Castlegar B&E

Castlegar RCMP are trying to figure out who was responsible for a break and enter at the Kootenay Crossing Mall on Monday.

A lone suspect forced his way through a rear door around 12:30 a.m.

Surveillance footage captured the man inside a business. He left but returned 45 minutes later and took an undisclosed amount of cash.

He’s described as having a medium build and dark brown or black hair in a short buzz cut, but to hide his identity he was wearing dark clothing, red gloves, and was wearing something green over his face.

Anyone who recognizes him is asked to call police at 250-365-7721.
