UPDATED: Gastrointestinal outbreak at Rose Wood Village over

An outbreak of gastrointestinal illness at a long-term care facility in Trail has been declared over.

Interior Health says as of Friday, Rose Wood Village in Trail had 19 resident cases. The outbreak that began May 5.

Jubilee Manor in Nelson was up to 22 resident and 14 staff cases in an outbreak that began May 8.

A similar outbreak at Swan Valley Lodge in Creston has been declared over.
