Smoke Eaters add four players following ID camp

The Trail Smoke Eaters have signed four players following the team’s April ID Camp.

The team signed goalie Ryan Parker, defenseman Jack Ketsa and forwards Nathan Dominici and Callas Pierce.

They say in addition to these four, other players from the camp remain on the scouting department’s radar.


Ryan Parker  This past season Parker played with the Pacific Coast Academy U18 prep team (CSSHL). The six-foot-one goalie is from Sooke and this year he posted a save percentage of .921%. The Smokies say he had a strong development camp in Trail. He was an affiliate goalie with the Smoke Eaters in the 2022-23 season.

The six-foot-one rearguard from St. Albert, Alta. played last season with the NAX U18 Prep (Northern Alberta Xtreme) in the CSSHL. He scored 4four goals and put up 15 points in 26 games. The Smokies say he performed at a high level at the April development camp. Jack Ketsa

Nathan Dominici  Dominici is from Trail and suited up for the Beaver Valley Nitehawks this past season, where he was the Neil Murdoch Division MVP. He posted 41 points in 39 games. He also put up 18 points in 17 playoff games this past season. He also played seven games this past season as an affiliate with the Smoke Eaters.
  

The five-foot-11 forward is from the Rink Hockey Academy Kelowna U18 Prep (CSSHL) and his hometown is Prince Rupert. Pierce posted 42 points in 50 games at U18 level and also put up four points in five playoff games. The Smokies say Callas had an outstanding performance at the April development camp. Callas Pierce
