No injuries in Rossland house fire

A home burned on Monte Christo Street in Rossland this morning, but no one was hurt.

Kootenay Boundary Regional Fire and Rescue says the house was fully involved when they arrived a little after 6 a.m.

They prevented the fire from spreading to any other homes or outbuildings but the home itself suffered substantial damage.

Everyone got out safely.

Eighteen firefighters from Rossland, Warfield, and Trail responded. The incident was declared under control shortly after 8 a.m.
