Smoke Eaters add DesRuisseaux to roster

The Trail Smoke Eaters continue have added forward Jack DesRuisseaux to the team for next season.

DesRuisseaux, 19, from Manchester, New Hampshire, is a product of Tabor Academy and is set to join the Smoke Eaters in the fall after putting up 70 points in 50 games.

He is committed to Sacred Heart University.

He split this past season with Tabor Academy playing USHS-Prep and the Boston Jr. Bruins U18 AAA. He had 32 goals across the two leagues this season and was also part of the leadership group at Tabor, wearing an “A” this season.

“Jack’s a responsible two-way centre, who plays a full 200 foot game,” Smokies GM and head coach Tim Fragle said. “We look forward to helping Jack in his development.”

“I want to thank coach Fragle and the whole organization for this opportunity,” DesRuisseaux said. “I am super excited to be joining Trail and I look forward to developing my game as a Smoke Eater.”
