Three vehicles involved in Trail bridge pile-up

While details are limited, RCMP say a crash on the Victoria Street bridge on Tuesday afternoon involved two trucks and a van.

In an email, Sgt. Mike Wicentowich said they believe one truck rear-ended the van which caused it to crash into the back of the other truck.

The westbound bridge deck was closed for about an hour but traffic was still able to pass using the eastbound deck.

Wicentowich said the van’s driver may have been injured. She was taken away from the scene by her daughter.
