Trail RCMP locate wanted man facing gun charges

A man wanted for skipping a court date on three gun-related charges has been found.

Trail RCMP say Jarrid Constantin, 43, was located Friday evening driving on Highway 3B in the Beaver Valley. He made a court appearance the following day and was released on bail again. Police issued a request last week for the public’s help in tracking him down.

He’s due back in court on March 30 and his trial is slated to start May 1.

Constain is accused of possession of a firearm while prohibited, transport of a prohibited firearm, and occupying a vehicle with a prohibited firearm.

The offences are alleged to have taken place May 19, 2022 in Trail.
