Jonathan Heatlie wins Salmo by-election

Jonathan Heatlie will soon be back on Salmo village council.

Heatlie won Saturday’s by-election, although the village has not yet disclosed the vote totals.

Heatlie ran for mayor unsuccessfully in October’s general election.

Anne Williams and Tanya Forbes were the other candidates in the by-election, which was called following the resignation of Todd Wallace for health reasons.
