Movement on Columbia salmon restoration:DeRosa

A Trail City Councillor is very optimistic there will be salmon back in the Upper Columbia river sooner than later.

Gord DeRosa is speaking after being involved in the Future of Our Salmon Conference in Spokane earlier this month.

He says there were up to 10 different ways discussed on “how” to reintroduce the species.

DeRosa says if there is a will, there is a way and now it is just a matter of money.

He says the conference went so well, he was invited to the two day session in Portland April 23rd and 24th – that will focus on “where” to introduce Salmon.
