Castlegar seeks single name for park

The City of Castlegar is taking public input on to get one official name for a popular piece of park land.
The area surrounding the Millennium Pathway has been called many things including Twin Rivers Park, Millennium Park, and Inland Field.
But councillor Sue Heaton-Sherstobitoff says with all the development happening there — including a bike park, aqua park, and possible concession stand — it’s time to settle on one.
She says they’d like to have consistent signage so tourists don’t get confused.
Residents can do the survey at castlegar.ca before May 9.
