COVID outbreak at Talarico Place ends with 2 deaths

The COVID outbreak at Talarico Place in Castlegar is over, but not before it claimed another life.

Interior Health says the outbreak at the extended care facility was declared ended today. There were a total of 36 resident cases and two deaths.

The outbreak was declared Aug. 1.

A seniors village in Summerland is the only other Interior Health facility still experiencing an outbreak.
