Man injured in jump from Trail river wall

Kootenay Boundary Regional Fire Rescue rescued a man who jumped off the river wall in Trail this afternoon, suffering serious injuries.

In a news release, the fire department says it was called at 3:45 this afternoon. It took them just over an hour to bring the man to safety. He was taken to hospital by paramedics.
