No Gov't compensation for Lemon Creek fuel spill

BC’s Environment Minister is ruling out government compensation over last year’s Lemon Creek fuel spill.

Kootenay West MLA Katrine Conroy raised the matter during a committee meeting this week in Victoria.

But Minister Mary Polak said it can’t be done.

The Government is named in a class-action lawsuit over the spill that saw 33,000 liters of jet fuel go into the creek.
