Air Quality Advisory in Grand Forks

The Ministry of Environment has issued an Air Quality Advisory for Grand Forks.

This is due to high concentrations of fine particulates that are expected to
continue for the next 24 hours.

People should avoid roads with heavy vehicle traffic and areas with wood smoke.

Those with underlying health conditions should stay indoors and keep windows and doors closed.

Also you should reduce immediate sources of pollution like smoking, vacuuming and wood stove use.
