QE ball park fence issue:dialogue could make things better

The discussions that have occurred in light of the fencing controversy at Nelson’s Queen Elizabeth ball park may result in better prospects all round.

That’s the message from Public Works Director Colin Innes with the neighborhood concerned about losing their tobogganing run if a permanent fence goes in along the first base line.

He says both sides are willing to talk and find solutions and he remains positive .

Innes says no work is likely now till the Spring.

Vandals ripped out fence posts that had already gone in.
