Pacific Coastal Airlines has addressed what they call the biggest request among the local air passenger community … flights to Kelowna.
The airline has announced they will fly Kelowna-Trail-Kelowna daily – except Saturdays- starting in January.
The company’s Spencer Smith says while business and tourism travel are factors the biggest reason is to fulfil the demand to get passengers to medical facilities in Kelowna.
Going by road can take around 4 and a half hours.
The flight – which will be in the mid afternoon – will take 40 minutes.
