No transparency issues at RD:candidate

Tom Newell – one of the two candidates for RDCK Area F – doesn’t agree with the assessment by fellow candidate Kevin Lepape that there’s a transparency issue at the RDCK.

Newell says he is speaking as someone who spent 30 years dealing with transparency throughout his career.

Newell recently retired as President of the local teachers union.

He says as he goes door-to-door campaigning most people tell him they want the services provided by the regional district, they want those services fine-tuned and they want the quality of life they have to be sustained.
