What's to become of existing Trail Library building?

If residents of Trail approve a new library part of the proposed Riverfront Centre, what will happen to the old space in the Memorial Centre?.

It was an issue that came up at last week’s All Candidates election forum and some suggested it could be part of a new convention centre in the Arena.

However, Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Norm Casler has some concerns with that idea.

Casler says the Chamber certainly supports development in the downtown.

However he explains operational costs haven’t been outlined for the proposed library/museum facility let alone renovations to the old space.
