Development plan along Granite Pointe

The proposed multi-unit development in Nelson’s Rosemont area is part of the bigger plan to make Granite Pointe Golf Course more viable.

So says the Society’s Peter Muirhead following this week’s approval by Council for a re-zone to allow up to 30 units on the edge of the course.

He says that was the aim of plans first laid out six years ago.

He says Granite Pointe sees the proposed development on Choquette Avenue as an important step to bolstering that part of Rosemont.

Many more new build homes are possible around the clubhouse in the years to come.
