Forward Bryan Lubin was the overtime hero Sunday as the Castlegar Rebels edged the Golden Rockets 6-5.

Lubin scored with four minutes left in extra time after the Rebels blew a two goal third period lead.

This followed Castlegar’s 4-3 OT fall to Fernie Friday.

Meanwhile, The Nelson Leafs come out of the weekend on a four game winning streak.

Nelson were 8-6 victors against Grand Forks Friday and outshined Golden in an 8-0 blow out Saturday.
