Trash To Treasure

Saturday is Trash To Treasure day in the Regional District of Central Kootenay.

The event allows residents to give away unwanted household items by putting them at the edge of their property where “treasure hunters” can come by and safely access the trash.

Participants are asked to put a visible sign near the items and remove any remaining material by 4 pm.
