Castlegar in running for international Bloom award

For the first time Castlegar has been nominated for an International Communities In Bloom award.

Two delegates from the city are off to Prince Edward Island for the 2014 National Symposiom

 

Local Chair Darlene Kalawsky says it is very exciting that the city is being recognized at this level and it is the fruition of the hard work from a lot of volunteers.

Castlegar is up against six other communities from as far away as Ireland.
