The investigation into the mysterious death of camper Paul Tayes near Nelson is now in the coroner’s hands but there’s no guarantee they’ll get to the bottom of things.
Regional Coroner Larry Marzinzik says a pathologist is conducting the autopsy but he’s suggesting it’s possible they may not discover anything conclusive.
RCMP figure the 56 year old may have fallen into the river.
He was found near Crescent Beach more than a week after disappearing from Kokanee Creek Park.
