BC Sheriff Services reviewing Stevenson escape attempt

The BC Sheriff Services will be reviewing Monday’s incident involving alleged local armed robber Andrew Stevenson.

They will also review the current practices and policies surrounding the transportation of prisoners in Nelson.

Stevenson tried to escape as the Deputy Sheriff was taking him into court for a hearing.
