There’s no outdoor skating open for New Year’s Eve tonight. The City of Castlegar says due to the warm weather (freeze and thaw) over the weekend, the ice rinks got a bit slushy. There’s a crew in the process of leveling them out today. The City will update their Facebook page once they re-open and also thank the public for their patience.
