KIJHL Wrap Up: September 12-14

The Nelson Leafs are the only local team to emerge unbeaten from the first weekend of the 2014-2015 season.The Leafs lost a two goal third period lead Friday and finished in a 3-3 draw with the defending league Champion Beaver Valley Nite Hawks.

They then fought back when down two goals Saturday to top the Castlegar Rebels 5-3.

The Nite Hawks would go on to lose 4-3 Saturday to the 100 Mile House Wranglers.

Castlegar lost the Grand Forks Border Bruins 4-3 last night.

Grand Forks topped Spokane 6-3 Saturday but lost 4-2 to 100 Mile House Friday.
