Another march for public education has been happening in Nelson’s downtown this lunch hour.
It’s a student-driven affair.
Speaking just before they headed off along Baker Street one of the organisers – Grade 12 student Dunavan Janzen-Morris – says there’s a strong understanding among his class mates that there needs to be a long term solution to the impasse.
The message to government will echo the one delivered by parents in a march last week …that is to properly fund the BC education system.
