Sleeping under Trail bridge for a cause

An overnight fundraiser in Trail hopes to dispel myths about the face of homelessness.

Career Development Services will be spending from 8 pm tonight to 8 am tomorrow morning under the Victoria Street Bridge in an effort to raise awareness and money for homelessness.

The initiative is called Coins For Change.

Here’s Program Coordinator Shelia Adcock.

All proceeds raised will go towards the local Getting To Home: Homelessness program that has helped over 163 people with housing related issues.
