End of taxi service in Castlegar and Trail

The owner of two local cab companies is taking his business off the road due to lack of support from the community and he says,from the regional district.

John Foglia runs Castlegar Taxi Transportation and Champion Cabs in Trail and says there will be a void in the two communities after October 10th.

And he believes local politicians don’t care.

Foglia says seniors will be the most affected but his business has been disintegrating over the past 10 years.

He says with the costs of gas and repairs it is just not worth it anymore.
