Mayors races in Fruitvale, Montrose, Warfield

Fruitvale residents will go to the polls Oct. 20 to choose between two candidates for mayor. They will have nine names to choose from to fill four councillor positions.

Incumbent mayor Patricia Cecchini faces a challenge from incumbent councillor Steve Morrisette. The following are running for council.

Wenman, Bill

Wenman is a former councillor. Cresswell is the retired village administrator.

In Montrose, incumbent mayor Joe Danchuk will face former mayor Mike Walsh.

For council there are six candidates, including two incumbents.

Cook, Cindy (x)

Schmidt, Royce

Steep, Rory (x)

Berriault is a former mayor and councillor. Schmidt is also a former councillor.

In Warfield, current mayor Diane Langman faces Tom Milne, an incumbent councillor.

There are five candidates for the four council seats, including two incumbents. They are:
