The Castlegar Fire Department responded to a motor home fire over the weekend located on the 700 block of 21 Street. Chief Sam Lattanzio says crews were called out on Saturday afternoon at approximately 2:40pm to find the motor home fully involved.
Chief Lattanzio says besides the motor home there was some damage caused to surrounding property. “It did have impact on the adjacent structure – the home that was there. There was some fire damage to the house, the fence that was also to the adjacent property to the west and also another vehicle got impacted.”
Chief Lattanzio says the cause is under investigation by the RCMP.
