Castlegar RCMP are asking any witnesses to contact them regarding an alleged sexual assault on Thursday, September 6. According to RCMP, the alleged assault occurred against a 13 year old female by an adult male while the female was travelling on a BC Transit bus from Selkirk College to the Castlegar Community Complex. The time of the alleged assault was between 4:15pm and 4:30pm.
Police believed that there were witnesses as there were several other passengers in close proximity. If you have any information, please call the Castlegar RCMP at 250-365-7721.
