A vehicle fire Sunday fternoon on Highway 22 near Genelle was quickly extinguished.
Kootenay Boundary Regional Fire Services says it got the call shortly before 1:30 p.m, arrived 12 minutes later, and had the fire under control five minutes after that.
The lone occupant escaped unharmed. The fire is not considered suspicious.
