Kootenay Boundary Regional Fire and Rescue responded to a vehicle fire last night. It happened in Fruitvale at 900 Columbia Gardens Road around 12:30am.
The pick up truck was fully involved when firefighters arrived. It was parked by the side of the road in a forested area, however, the fire was knocked down before it had a chance to spread.
The cause is undetermined.
