Trail Airport needs perimeter fence

One of the many projects the city of Trail needs to tackle on their recently acquired airport is a perimeter fence.

They’re looking at putting up about four kilometres worth and it would need to be about three meters high to keep wildlife out.

Airport Manager Don Goulard says Transport Canada has not insisted on the fence nor imposed any deadline but this is something that’s needed.


Some of the big upgrades identified for the trail airport include a longer runway and new terminal building.
