Sports memorabilia stolen from Nelson museum

Some memorabilia has been stolen from the Civic Arena Sports museum in Nelson.

Bill Mcdonnellwho works on the exhibit says two baseball jerseys from the 1950’s and a 1960’s bomber jacket were taken from the open display.

One jersey has Outlaws written on it while the other has Tigers.

The jacket has the letters NDU on it.


The thefts happened on the August long weekend.

Mcdonnell says they’re keeping an eye on E-bay and Craigs List and the police have been made aware.
