Smoky skies ease in Boundary

The smoky skies have largely cleared around the Boundary.

The Ministry of Environment has ended the Wildfire Smoke Advisory that was issued last week for Grand Forks and beyond.

The Ministry says the weather system that is moving through the southern interior has resulted in an improvement in air quality and a decrease in the amount of smoke carried into the region.

These conditions are expected to continue through the weekend.
