Local seniors website launched

A new local website has been launched specifically for seniors.

It’s kootenayseniors.ca which is a pilot project by nelson cares society and sponsored by the Osprey Foundation and Columbia Basin Trust.

Here’s Age Friendly Community Initiative Coordinator Corrine Younie.

The promise is to keep it accurate and constantly updated and there will also be a section for those working with seniors.

The Nelson library will offer support to those seniors who may need help accessing kootenayseniors.ca
