Nelson golf course condo development height approved

As expected Nelson council has approved a slight building height variance for the first ten-plex condos on the edge of Granite Pointe golf course.

Developer Pat Davis says that’s good for him and potential buyers.

The height of the building will now be one third of a meter beyond the usual 12-metre maximum.

Davis has also re-designed the lay-out to satisfy privacy concerns for neighbors.

Construction should start next month with completion set for next spring.
