Police learn more about recent suspicious sudden death

RCMP say they now have a better understanding of what happened last month when a local teen died suddenly in suspicious circumstances.

The 17 year old Nelson girl – who has not been named publicly – died of injuries sustained in a residence at Ross Spur, near Salmo.

He was arrested at the time on an unrelated matter.

Meanwhile Wicentovich is warning the public about what they read and believe on social media regarding this tragic event saying only police and the man know the facts. He adds rumours can get so out of hand they can even compromise a case.
