Columbia Basin Culture Tour

The sixth annual Columbia Basin Culture tour goes this weekend around the region.

Venues from as far as Fernie to Greenwood and Golden to Creston are taking part in the self directed and free tour.

Organizer Natasha Smith says the event is expanding.

Smith says each year they have different people – whether its artists or organizations and museums – wanting to participate.

She adds the tour celebrates the range and wealth of talent in the Basin and includes many types of artists.

The tour is sponsored by the Columbia Basin Trust.
