Castlegar firefighters responed to a suspected gas leak at the Kootenay Market yesterday.
Chief Sam Lattanzio says they were called just before noon
Fortis BC came to check the situation and didn’t find any issues.
Later in the afternoon they responded to a single vehicle crash on the Kinnaird Bridge.
A driver smashed into the gaurd rail.
Lattanzio says the rail held up.
RCMP are investigating to determine what caused the crash.
