Works crews in Castlegar are putting the finishing touches to the impressive Millenium Ponds project which will be formally opened to the public Monday.
Three natural swimming pools have been created alongside the Columbia River at Millenium Park.

The open area will not be fenced off and will be a safe natural space for public swimming.
The city is putting on a free shuttle bus throughout the afternoon Monday to get the public to and from the ponds via the Community Complex and museum.
