Sirens will be blaring out of Castlegar’ Zelstoff Celgar Monday morning for an evacuation drill.
Health and safety manager Mark Goebel says this is something they do regularly at the mill.
He says the sirens likely won’t be heard from the community.
He adds any contractors or visitors on site during the drill must follow protocol from instructors.
Goebel says these drills are vital to employee safety.
