The City of Trail is preparing for the municipal elections later this year.
Mayor Mike Martin says the city’s coporate administrator Michelle McIsaac has been appointed chief election officer.
Sandy Lucchini is deputy chief election officer.
McIsaac’s proposed pay rate is $1,400 and Lucchini’s is $700.
Martin says now is the time to start getting things in order for the October election.
Martin says he hasn’t decided if he’ll seek re-election.
He says he is taking the decision very seriously.
