How is winter maintenance on our local roads and highways prioritized?
Castlegar City Councillor Sue Heaton-Sherstobitoff hopes that’s a question that can be answered by the Ministry of Transportation at Monday’s city council meeting.
An MoT delegation will be speaking at the meeting.
She says this should give council and residents a better understanding as to how winter maintenance is handled in our region and who to contact if there are any concerns.
Heaton-Sherstobitoff requested the delegation after hearing about a similar presentation at an RDCK meeting last year.
