Rossland Winter Carnival president reflects on 2018 edition

The president of the Rossland Winter Carnival says this year’s edition of the event was a huge hit.

Tara Kowalchuk says the annual carnival was packed for most of the weekend.

She says it was hard to pick a highlight from the many events over the weekend.

Kowalchuk says they had some new events this year which she hopes to see return in 2019.

Kowalchuk doesn’t have exact attendence numbers from the carnival yet.

She says weather was great for the most part and some new family-friendly events were popular with the younger carnival-goers.
