The Village of Fruitvale hopes to give an unused property a new lease on life.
Mayor Patricia Cecchini is excited the village has acquired the old Beaver Valley Middle School site.
It was acquired for $149,000 through a public foreclosure process.
Cecchini isn’t sure what the village will do with the property yet but says there’s lots of possibilities.
The village says the acquisition of the site improves chances for development.
