A childcare facility in Castlegar has received a funding injection from the Columbia Basin Trust.
Silly Monkeys Childcare gets $5,000 through the trust’s child care capital grants program.
Owner Danielle Kozak says the funds will help them add more equipment to enhance outdoor play.
She says kids and staff are excited.
Silly Monkeys will be getting tricycles, scooters and safety equipment.
They’ll also be purchasing storage and furniture.
